Madeline is headed to first grade. I have struggled ALOT with this fact. She had her ice cream social and I didn't even make it through that without tears filling my eyes. When I saw her kindergarten teacher, I thought I would lose it completely. She, however, is very excited and can't wait for the year to begin. I wouldn' t want it any other way, but it sure is hard to accept that my baby girl is growing so fast. The ice cream social was fun and Madeline is very happy to have Mrs. King as her teacher. She also had a great time seeing all her friends again. Here we go! Another year is about to begin!
