Madeline finished kindergarten on June 1st. It was such an emotional day for me. We visited her classroom and joined her for an all-school picnic potluck. I just kept getting tears in my eyes. It was almost worse than the first day. I am just not ready for her to be real big kid! First grade just seems like all the little kid is gone. Thank you to Mrs. Billups for being the best kindergarten teacher a kid could ask for. I guess I just have to accept that my first baby is really growing up. I am just so excited to have her home for the summer! I miss seeing her all day long!
