Madeline loves Valentine's Day. We have to wear valentine colors (red or pink) and must show love! We spent this V-day in Fargo, ND visiting Denny's sister Diana and her family. Madeline decided to surprise everyone and make a heart for them. She worked very diligently with Nana cutting out hearts, writing I love you and their names, and putting just the right stickers. When she was finished, she had us all gather in the living room and she one-by-one gave us our valentine and one of our heart sugar cookies. She said, "Happy Valentine's Day! I love you." and gave us each a hug. She really is a sweetie. She even made one for their dog Cocoa and gave him a dog treat. It was fun to see her being so giving. It warmed our hearts while we were in a cold, cold city!
