Monday was Madeline's first day of preschool! She was so excited and was ready to leave the house by 6:40 am. Her school starts at 8:15! She wore her most beautiful outfit and fixed her hair twice to make sure it was just right. She was just oozing with excitement. It was so fun to see her be so big to get ready herself. For those of you who know Madeline, she was talking and asking questions even more than usual! What a joy. When I picked her up she shared all the rules for outside, and centers, and how all the kids behaved, and how things would be different the next day because of pictures, etc. etc. etc. She must have really been paying attention to her teachers! We had a special lunch at her favorite spot, The Kalona Bakery, and celebrated with Yotty's ice cream! Her first day was a great success and she just kept asking when it would be dinner and bedtime so she could hurry up and get back to school on Tuesday.
