Proud Gramma!
Madeline was in the musical Annie in June. She began rehearsals in May and ended the show on Father's Day. She absolutely loved being on the stage and slowly learned to love the basement full of big girls! She sang and danced (or should I say scrubbed) in "It's The Hard Knock Life." It was so cute and she really got into it each night. My favorite thing she said during the whole week was, "Mommy, being on stage just makes me feel so joyful!" I must say that my musical theater loving side was so proud to hear this! She also loved the curtain call each night when they sang "Tomorrow" and "all those people were standing and clapping." It was a long week and we sacrificed some summer fun, but it was an experience she will never forget! Madeline was very pleased that GG Connie and GG Lou, Gramma Judy, Auntie, Penny, Donna, our neighbors, and some other friends were able to come and see her. Thank you to those of you that made the drive and effort to be there. She really did appreciate it!
