Christmas Card Pictures

Our beautiful girls

Love it!

Madeline chose matching dresses for church this Sunday, so I decided to go ahead and try and get some Christmas card pictures. We had to have a book, or Caroline would have lasted maybe two seconds. I thought they turned out well. Thanks for the cool Night Before Christmas book Auntie! It was just the trick!

Unfriendly Beasts - First Christmas Play

Excited to go on
So sweet.
Madeline's line: "I saw that sign, I think it said no vacations."
The Stable Animals

Madeline was so excited to be in the church Christmas program this year. As soon as she heard about it, she knew she wanted to talk in it. She even auditioned for Miss Dana to show her she could do her line. She took it very seriously and did so well. She was just the cutest little horse ever! She said her line to well and sang every song in her best voice. (I must say the peformer in me was very proud! and the mommy in me cried!) The funniest thing was when she described what it was like to use the real microphone for the first time. She said, "Mom, I was so nervous because I was not sure what it would do to my voice, but once I did it I realized I sound like the real me, just louder. It will be not problem at all!" She is already talking about next year and if she'll be able to sing a solo because she'll be "a lot older" and "have more experience." I love it!

Denny's Birthday

36 years young!
Aren't you glad we didn't put 36 single candles on?
I'm not sure you could still do it! ha,ha
I couldn't resist the Rocky card!
(Just ask Denny about his obsession with Rocky)

We love to celebrate birthdays at our house. The adults don't alwasy get a huge theme party, but Denny's birthday doesn't get forgotten! Madeline gets very excited all day long in preparation. As you can see from thise pictures, she gets pure joy from a birthday celebration! Happy Birthday, Denny! We love you!

Potty time

I don't usually post pictures of my kids without their clothes. I just couldn't help it. These are just too funny. When Caroline wants to go potty, she goes and gets Madeline, gets the potty chair, and takes all her clothes off. She insists that Madeline do the same. They sit and chat. I thought the pics were safe enough as no crucial body parts are seen and I just had to share this funny moment!
As a sidenote: Caroline has not actually gone potty in the chair, but she loves to sit on it!

Caroline's Playtime

Caroline cooks!

Grumpy face
Uh-oh!
Madeline's preschool time is Caroline's playtime! We get home from dropping Madeline off and Caroline runs to the toyroom saying "Come, Mommy! Play!" When I enter the toyroom, she says "Watch, Mommy!" I am not allowed to play, I must just watch. This is a sample of her playing. She runs around crazy having fun. It is so fun to "watch."

Thanksgiving Day

Austin & Caroline

We had Thanksgiving at our house with Denny's family. I had a great time making all the food and if I do say so myself, it turned out very good. I don't think anyone went away hungry. It was a nice relaxing day. I didn't get a lot of pictures, but I did get a few. We have so much to be thankful for. God has blessed our family in so many ways. This day is a day to celebrate how good God is!

Best Friend, Bear

Caroline has loved bears since she was big enough to hold onto one. This bear has become her favorite. She talks with it, hugs it, sleeps with it, reads to it, and kisses and kisses him. She absolutley loves it. It is the most precious site to see her talking and loving her bear. This is her best friend.
