Little Mommy

Madeline loves to take showers all by herself like a Mommy. She likes to pretend she is a mommy a lot of the time. I thought she was so cute when she took a shower in our bathroom and came out in my robe. She really is our little mommy!

First Wagon Ride

It was so beautiful on Wednesday so we decided to take a walk. It was Caroline's first ride in our red wagon. She absolutely loved it. She jabbered the whole time like she was talking about what she was seeing. I think we have another outdoor lover!

Jack's 5th Birthday

Superfriends!

Super Silly

Madeline's favorite friend Jack had his 5th birthday party last Sunday. It was a superhero theme, but Madeline decided to go as Snow White. Luckily, there was another little girl dresses as a princess too. We had a lot of fun playing. Madeline loves Jack and didn't leave his side all day. After everyone was gone, we stayed awhile and Madeline decided to be Spiderman! They were so cute! They really are super friends!

Caroline is 9 months!

Our beatiful blue-eyed girl

Everything to the mouth!

She's still doing the laundry only now she can do it standing up!

Kisses, kisses, kisses!
This is how Caroline gets Madeline back!
Standing and pulling up to everything.
Caroline's tongue is out all the time. I think it helps her do things.
Still crawling, but wishing she could walk.

Caroline was 9 months old on the 18th! We cannot believe how fast it has gone by. She is quite the mover and prefers to hold your hands and walk wherever it is that she wants to go. She is eating all kinds of foods and really beginning to play with Madeline. She does "So big" and "So cute", waves and says "hi" and waves bye sometimes. She knows how to say ma ma ma and yell Ma (madeline) and says da da da but we're not sure if she knows what it means yet. Caroline is our mover and shaker. She is everywhere and always in the action. She is very happy and laid back until she is mad. When she gets mad she stays mad until she is over it. She already has a mind of her own and lets us know what she thinks. She is wonderful and such a joy to have around.

Swimming in Fargo

I was so cold! Brrr!

I'm all done, Daddy.

Not sure, but doing ok!

Walking in water for the first time!
Caroline, Denny, Garrett, & Madeline

Sweet Caroline

Madeline loves pepperoni pizza!

We stayed at a hotel with a small waterpark on our last night in Fargo. Madeline was so excited since we haven't really been swimming all that much in the last year (having a newborn kind of kept us out of the water). She loves to swim and continues to get better and better. We weren't sure how Caroline would react to the water, but she did pretty well. I think she'll love it this summer when it is warm. This pool was a little cold! Denny's family joined us for a little pizza party and cousin Garrett was a trooper playing in the pool with Madeline. They had a great time going down the waterslides in all different ways. It was a good way to end our trip.

"You made Chelsea's day-o"

Chelsea, as Babe Williams in the Pajama Game & Madeline after the show!
Waiting for the play to start. She made it through the whole play!
Two girls who love to read!

Angels We Have Heard On High is one of Madeline's favorite Christmas songs and she also really likes her cousin Chelsea. On the way to Fargo to see Chelsea in her final high school play, she really wanted to sing it A LOT because her favorite line is "Glo -----------------ria. You made Chelsea's day-o!" It is so adorable even on the 110th time!

Hockey Girl

Caroline got her first taste of hockey in Fargo (literally). Garrett helped her use her first hockey stick. She really just preferred to chew on the ball.
